1. Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to the training courses offered by the Bern Seminars for Transaction Analysis (hereinafter referred to as BSTA).
2. Registration
a) An admissions interview with the BSTA management is a prerequisite for written registration for ongoing training in transaction analysis. b) Written registration is sufficient for participation in individual offers. c) Registration to participate in an offer is binding. The BSTA management decides on the admission. Candidates for participation will be informed in writing of their admission. d) With the admission and / or the confirmation of a study place (when booking an individual offer), the participant undertakes to pay the further training costs on time. e) You will be informed of any non-implementation of an offer after the registration deadline.
3. Admission
People of legal age who have professional experience and have a corresponding field of application are admitted. The readiness for self-awareness and supervision for learning purposes is required. Independent learning is a requirement.
4. Scope of services
Training, use of the BSTA infrastructure and teaching materials provided are included in the training. Additional costs (e.g. specialist literature, attendance at congresses, etc.) are incurred. At the end of the training, a confirmation of participation is issued for the offers visited. The prerequisite for the confirmation of participation for the entire offer is usually an attendance of at least 80%, active participation and the completed proof of competence in the case of ongoing training. If you wish, participation can also be entered in the SVEB's education pass
5. Cancellations / Refunds
If you cancel your participation in individual offers up to 15 days before the implementation date, a fee of CHF 50 will be charged. If you cancel your participation in the ongoing training offer up to 10 days after the written registration, a processing fee of CHF 200 will be charged. If you cancel your participation in the ongoing further training offer before the start of the further training and for individual offers up to 10 days before the implementation date, 50% of the amount to be charged will be owed. From 14 days before the implementation of the individual offers and from the start of ongoing training, the full amount to be charged is owed. These costs do not arise if the canceling person finds a suitable substitute participant. The decision as to whether a substitute participant is valabel is at the discretion of the BSTA management. The amount is owed by the contracting party until the date of conclusion of the new contract with the substitute participant.
6. No-show, cancellation, termination, exclusion
In the event of non-appearance, cancellation, cancellation or exclusion, the full amount invoiced is owed. In the case of exceptional and no fault of the participant due to hardship (long-term illness, accident, etc.), a partial waiver can be checked for ongoing training. On the basis of an application submitted for this, the BSTA management makes a final assessment and decision. There is no right to a refund
7. Exclusion
Participants who, through their behavior, disrupt or make the learning process of the other participants with regard to content, personal handling or willful damage to property, etc. impossible, can be excluded from the further training offer. If payment is not made or is not paid on time, the BSTA can exclude participants from attending the training courses
8. Invoicing and payment methods
The legal debtor is basically the participant, regardless of the billing address given when registering. Invoices are sent in CHF to the billing address given when registering. If payment deadlines are missed, processing fees may be charged. In the case of ongoing offers, invoices are issued before the start of the semester (beginning of December and beginning of June); for individual offers before the start, according to the advertised costs or as agreed with the BSTA management. The agreement of installment payments is at the discretion of the BSTA management. No financial claims can be derived from the non-participation in individual events or lessons against the BSTA. They do not entitle you to make up for it at another point in time. If individual events have to be canceled or broken off by the BSTA, participants cannot claim any further compensation than the proportional reimbursement of the further training costs.
9. Lecturer failure
The BSTA reserves the right to make changes to both the continuing education program and the selection of lecturers. If lecturers or speakers are absent at short notice, an attempt will always be made to find substitutes for the planned date. If this is not possible, a catch-up date will be offered. There is no entitlement to compensation or (partial) reimbursement of the training costs.
10. Liability
For the events of the BSTA, any liability for damage incurred is excluded. Participants are responsible for adequate insurance coverage (such as accident, cancellation, liability, theft insurance, etc.) BSTA cannot be made liable for theft or loss of objects
